In an invention that combines the public disruption of boomboxes and large backpacks–anyone who ride public transit knows what I’m talking about–BeatBringer is promises to up the ante.

Basically, it’s a Bluetooth concert speaker that straps to your back. A giant lithium batter powers a four-channel amplifier (2 x 75 watts and 2 x 25 watts) that ran run for up to 15 hours. It’s a bit heavy–6kg–but the company says it’s still good for running and skating.
