Time again for the weekly Canadian CD and vinyl sales report along with streaming stats (25 June 2026)

Before we look at this week’s sales and streaming numbers from Luminate, check out what Quebec’s Angine de Poitrine did on the Billboard album charts. That’s wild for such a different-sounding group.

  • CDs sold in Canada last week: 30,061 (Up 6.2% from last week. Sales continue to trend up.)
  • Vinyl sales in Canada last week: 35,433 (Up 15.1% from last week.)
  • CDs sold in Canada so this year: 702,603 (Up 1.3% from a year ago. Sales continue to trend up.)
  • Vinyl sold in Canada this year: 835,977 (Up 4.8% from this time last year.)

  Streaming numbers:

  • Songs streamed in Canada last week: 3,055,759,248 (Down 0.3% from a week ago. This is the tenth week in a row where weekly streams exceeded three billion.)
  • Songs streamed in Canada so far this year: 71,225,683,159 (Up 3.4% from last year.)
