Time for another weekly Canadian CD and vinyl sales report along with the latest streaming numbers (11 Dec 2025)
Last week’s sales numbers for CDs and vinyl were HUGE because of the Black Friday edition of Record Store Day. This week, the trend continues in a BIG way.
- CDs sold in Canada last week: 57,937 (Up 17.5% from last week–and last week saw a 100.8% jump from the week before!)
- Vinyl sales in Canada last week: 98,,581 (Up 48.9% from a week ago. And last week, sales were up 96%!)
- CDs sold in Canada this year: 1,496,900 (Down 2.7% from this point last year)
- Vinyl sold in Canada this year: 1,710,976 (Up 22.1% from a year ago).
Streaming numbers:
- Songs streamed in Canada last week: 2,988,630,210 (Up 0.7% from a week ago)
- Songs streamed in Canada so far this year: 138,593,278,503 (up 5.8% from this time in 2024)
