Speaking Gig

Time for more of my speaking gigs! New dates added daily!

Time to go back on the road for more of my salon encounters with music fans. These are free-wheelin’ discussions which always go off in a million different directions at once. Because no two audiences are ever the same, each salon is completely different. They run about two hours and are always a lot of fun.

It looks like there will be gigs in various places across Canada in 2024 (including a north-to-south swing through Alberta in the summer, details of which will be announced very soon), so there’s lots more to come.

Meanwhile, here’s what’s been confirmed for the rest of 2024–so far. More dates are coming.

  • June 1, The Broom Factory, Kingston ON (3pm). Tickets here.
  • June 6, The Cat’s Cradle, Toronto ON (6pm). Tickets here.
  • June 22. Bar Robo, Ottawa ON. (8pm) Tickets here.
  • June 23, Ottawa ON (3pm) Details TBA.
  • July 5, The Groovenor, Edmonton AB (8pm). Tickets here.
  • July 9, The Red Hart, Red Deer AB. Tickets TBA.
  • October 3: Aurora Town Square, Aurora ON (7pm). Tickets here.

Like I said, there’s more to come. Stand by. And if you’d like to book me for your place, contact Side Door Access.

  • Hey Alan … the link for Ottawa tickets only goes to the Kingston event Jun 1st and will not link to the Ottawa event on the 22nd.

  • It’s a shame that you can’t slide on down to Calgary when you are in Alberta doing your Edmonton show.

  • So worth the drive. Twice.
    Don’t miss out.

  • On side door I got tickets for the Groovenor. On website I see there’s an event same night at a pub called slow pour. Is there a change in venue?

  • Red Deer, huh? You are getting closer!
