Time for the Tuesday Diddy update. It’s all awful.
You’d think that the stories surrounding Diddy’s activities over the last couple of decades would have slowed down by now. Nope. The longer he spends in jail awaiting trial, the more we’re hearing. Here’s the latest.
This is the latest accusation dating back to an afterparty at the 2000 VMAs. Two other celebrities were also allegedly involved. A growing number of men are filing assault claims. This is part of a new wave of lawsuits.
A pro athlete stopped Diddy from assaulting a man
The unnamed athlete says he was at a party for Diddy’s Ciroc vodka in 2022 when he witnessed Diddy getting ready to assault male attendee. He alleges that “Combs stripped off his pants and exposed himself after inviting the guest into his private office during the event. Combs continued to move closer and then grabbed Plaintiff through his pants, squeezing them in a rough and sexual manner.” The attack only stopped when the athlete entered the room. (Via the NY Post)
Celebrities continue to quietly settle suits
They want to avoid a PR nightmare by being involved in anything involving they may have done with Diddy. Makes you wonder who these celebs are, doesn’t it? And is Kayne avoiding the US because of the Diddy scandal?
As his legal troubles increase, his streaming numbers go up.
Things started spiraling down almost a year ago when Cassie accused Diddy of assault in a lawsuit. Since then, radio has dropped Diddy’s songs. Meanwhile, though, he’s seen a spike in streaming numbers. A year ago, he had about 1.5 monthly listeners on Spotify. That number is now 1.8. Most of this is probably due to curiousity, but still… More numbers here.

The number of Diddy followers have gone both up and down depending on the platform. On TikTok, #FreeDiddy has been used more than 12,000 times.
