Time to vote on the 2022 Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize

Now that the Polaris Music Prize is over for another year, the next item on the agenda is the 2022 Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize. The goal is to give recognition to worthy albums that were released in the decades before Polaris came along in 2006,

Voting is open to the general public (go here) and these are the albums that are eligible.

Lillian Allen – Revolutionary Tea Party
Bran Van 3000 – Glee
Leonard Cohen – Various Positions
Four The Moment – We’re Still Standing
k.d. lang – Ingénue
Kardinal Offishall – Quest for Fire: Firestarter, Vol 1
Martha and the Muffins – This is the Ice Age
Wayne McGhie & The Sounds of Joy – Wayne McGhie & The Sounds of Joy
Rascalz – Cash Crop
SNFU – …And No One Else Wanted To Play
Stars – Set Yourself on Fire
The Weakerthans – Left and Leaving

Voters can submit ballots once per day. Voting closes Friday, Oct. 14 at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT. The new Heritage Prize winners will be revealed Friday, Oct. 21.
