Today’s lesson in musical genres: samurai metal

There are a million flavours of metal (thrash, black, death, pirate, Viking, symphonic, NWOBHM, etc.) We can now add samurai metal to that list, courtesy of a Japanese (of course) band called Gyze.

I think it’s pretty self-explanatory. Could ninja metal be far behind? Or is it here and I just haven’t heard about it? (Via Loudwire)
