Tool offers a few more details about their new album
It’s been a little more than 12 years since the last Tool album, but they are apparently making progress on the new record. We heard a couple of weeks ago that Danny Carey has finished tracking his drums–a big milestone–which means it’s time for a break.
Tool (minus Maynard James Keenan who is busy with A Perfect Circle) is now on the road with their lecture series, showing fans how they write and perform their songs. The first of about a half-dozen seminars ran Friday night in Minneapolis.
When asked about what the record sounds like, they dropped the news that each of songs on the album will be over 10 minutes long. That’s cool, but how many songs are we talking?
