Is This Toronto Radio Station the First in the World to Offer a Bitcoin as a Prize?
I can’t say for sure, but I haven’t heard of another station doing this.
Toronto’s Indie 88 (full disclosure: I consult the station and I’m damn mad at myself for not coming up with this idea) is giving away one bitcoin as part of a winter contest. I’ll just quote from what they posted:

Live 88.5 in Ottawa is giving one away as well, but you have to do some math to qualify. Draw is Feb 3rd. Found it listed on their facebook page.
