Trent Reznor Has Another Movie Scoring Gig

After already winning an Oscar, a Golden Globe and some Grammy nods for work on films like The GIrl with the Dragon Tattoo, Trent Reznor and his composing partner Atticus Ross have a new commission for the next David Fincher film.

Gone Girl, a thriller starring Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Tyler Perry and Neil Patrick Harris, is scheduled for release on October 3.  The movie is based on a 2012 novel.

More at The Hollywood Reporter.  Meanwhile, Trent will help close the Grammys this Sunday by participating in an all-star jam that will also feature Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl and Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham.  I may have to stay up for that.
