Is Trent Reznor Out at Beats?

When it comes to the Apple-Beats deal, there’s been plenty of coverage of Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre.  But two names have been conspicuously absent.

First, there’s CEO Ian Rogers who joined the company in January 2013.  We have no idea if he figures in the new regime at all.

The second no-show is Trent Reznor, the company’s Chief Creative Office.  Is he out?  Some reports say he is.

I wouldn’t worry too much about Trent, though.  Chances are he got a nice fat payout from the $3 billion deal.  (By the way, the Beats Music portion of the deal is said to be valued at $500 million.  The rest of the valuation goes to hardware.)
