A TV Game Show Focused on…Iron Maiden?
Yep. It’s called Celebrity Mastermind and runs on the BBC. Next week will feature a rather special edition with former Million Dead and Mongol Horde singer Frank Turner appearing to answer questions on Maiden. His competition will be punk poet John Cooper Clarke (who will be quizzed about Elvis), actor Ben Faulks (his topic is Antarctic exploration) and entertainer Roy Hudd (who will be asked about comedian Dan Leno.)
It works like this: Contestants are seated in a big black leather chair. A spotlight shines down on their face and they’re interrogated against the clock. Whoever scores the most right answers in their chosen category wins.
