Twenty One Pilots just unveiled…something. What’s happening here?
According to a new Twenty One Pilots video posted yesterday (February 22), “Next week, a new chapter begins. But today, we look back on how we got here.”
The video is entitled “I Am Clancy” and it features more of the deep mystery and mystique the band has become famous for. Singer Tyler Joseph is our narrator who speaks of being trapped. He’s from a “circular cement city” known as “Dema” in the “lower portion of an otherwise wild and green continent, Trench.” There are references to “Blurryface,” the “nine bishops,” and a cycle called “Vialism.:
The more obsessive the fan you are, the more you will understand what might be going on here. Interpretations welcome. Me? I no clue. But this looks like it’ll be fun.
