Two big acts have released songs from quarantine. Check out the latest from The Streets and Puscifer.

Word is that studios in Los Angeles are bracing for a wave of bookings once COVID-19 settles down and goes away. The thinking is that so many artists are currently writing songs in quarantine and will want to record them as soon as possible.

Some are lucky enough to be able to record at home. Here are two examples of quarantunes:

The Streets, “Where the Fuck Did April Go?”

Totally get this sentiment. April zipped by because we were all hunkered down sheltering in place. Mike Skinner he wrote this song as if he were talking to a therapist.

The Streets will have a mixtape called None of Us are Getting Out of This Life Alive on July 10.

Puscifer, “Apocalyptica”

Last year, Maynard James Keenan was wrapped up in the release of Tool’s Fear Inoculum. Now he’s back with Puscifer and a new song that sounds like it’s about everything that’s happening today.

There will be a new Puscifer album…sometime. When it does arrive, it’ll be the full record from them since Money Shot came out in 2015.
