Were Two Members of Pussy Riot Arrested in Sochi?

That’s what the tweet from Nadzehda Tolokonnikova said.  “We have been arrested…and are accused of robbery.”  Bandmate Maria Alyokhina was also detained for allegedly stealing something from a hotel.  The arrests came in central Sochi, about 30 kilometers away from the Olympic venues.

Later tweets alleged assaults by police, including being “dragged face down along a floor.”

So why were they in Sochi?  To perform a new song entitled “Putin Will Teach You to Love the Motherland.”
