Two more Rush reissues are coming October 2
The record that got me into Rush was 2112, which I bought on cassette sometime around 1977. It got endless play in my Roadstar underdash cassette player (five watts per channel!) that I installed in my mom’s Ford Pinto. I still have it.
Weirdly, I never bought it on vinyl. And it’s gotta be on CD somewhere in my house. I can correct at least one of those issues on October 2 when a new vinyl reissue of 2112 arrives.
It comes as a “liquid vinyl” edition (i.e. it’s a liquid sandwiched within the 180 gram vinyl), which will look like this.

At the same time, a vinyl reissue of The Spirit of Radio: Greatest Hits 1974-1987 will appear, also on 180 gram vinyl.
