U2’s Edge Still at Odds Over California Coastal Commission About His Mansion Development

The Edge–no stranger to real estate deals–has been trying for years to build some houses on a pristine ridge above Malibu. He thought the deal was done, but there’s been some pushback in recent days. Opponents to the project say the development will “cause irreparable harm to pristine acreage, destroy habitat, pose an extreme fire danger and possibly open the way for even more development.”

Edge has been working on this project–featuring a total of five (5) mansions–since 2006. One of them will be his. It must be one helluva parcel of land for the fight to carry on for this long.
