Ultra Rare Radiohead Cassette to be Auctioned Off in September

Before they were Radiohead, they were On a Friday.  And back in 1986, On a Friday recorded a nine-track demo which was dubbed onto cassette, one of which was given to an old schoolmate at Abingdon School.

Six the nine songs have never officially seen the light of day, although with the Internet, it’s been hard to keep them secret (see “Lemming Trail” below).

Omega Auctions in Stockport in the UK will be in charge of the sale.  Guesses are that it’ll fetch somewhere north of $1500.
