UPDATE: Former MuchMusic VJ Kim Clarke Champniss home from hospital after throat cancer fight

About a month ago, we heard about the health problems facing former MuchMusic VJ Kim Clarke Champniss. A return of throat cancer required the removal of a tumor, a procedure that destroyed his vocal cords. He has lost his natural voice and will have to speak through a “voice prosthetic” for the rest of his life.

Kim has been very upbeat and positive throughout the whole ordeal. He’s now out of the hospital and home in Niagara Falls.

Anyone who has ever met Kim will attest that he’s a solid dude, a great guy. Keep sending good karma his way.
