US Edition of Morrissey’s Autobiography Has Something Missing: Mozzer’s Gay Relationship

When Autobiography was released in the UK, there was a description of a relationship he had with photographer Jake Owen Walters.  It was nothing sensational–were they lovers?  Just good friends? It’s unclear–but given Mozzer’s cageiness when it comes to his personal life, people saw this as a major sort of revelation.

Interestingly, the US edition of Autobiography, doesn’t include a picture of Owens that we see in the British edition. His name is also stricken from a story involving Chrissie Hynde.  And according to people who have been comparing the editions, these are but two of the differences they’ve found.

Can’t wait to see what Mozzer has to say about this.
