Vampire Weekend Apologize Over Flaming Saabs
Remember that story about Saab enthusiasts being angry over Vampire Weekend barbequing a couple of cars in a music video? To the point that there are message board threads like “Vampire Weekend Are A Bunch Of Dicks”
Apparently, Vampire Weekend singer Ezra Koenig feels a little bad about this.
Hopefully people believe me when I say that our record label was looking to purchase the cheapest, oldest cars possible; they weren’t trying to buy a beautiful perfect condition car.
… is there really that many Saab owners in the world upset over this that bad? I mean, this a better public apology then most rockers ever give and it’s over a couple of junkers.
