Very gutsy: A Russian rapper has released an anti-war song.

Anyone within Russia who dares to call the military atrocities in Ukraine an “invasion” or a “war” will be charged with spreading fake news and be subject to up to 15 years in jail. Yet Alisher Tagirovich Morgenshtern, a Russian rapper who performs under the name Morgenshtern, has released a “12,” an anti-war song.

The song features a voice message from the mother of his producer (who is Ukrainian) talking about what it’s like surviving Russian airstrikes. Note how the video ends, too.
