Voiceover People: One of Our Own Has Passed

As someone who makes part of his living doing voiceovers for radio, TV and online projects, I have a soft spot for other people in this line of work.  Hal Douglas, one of the legends in the movie trailer business, died this week at the age of 89.

You may not know the name, but you’ve almost certainly heard his voice.

is an internationally known broadcaster, interviewer, writer, consultant, blogger and speaker. In his 30+ years in the music business, Alan has interviewed the biggest names in rock, from David Bowie and U2 to Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters. He’s also known as a musicologist and documentarian through programs like The Ongoing History of New Music.
