Vu, The News Recommendation App

Most of the recommendation/curation apps we’ve discussed on this site have had to do with music discovery. Vu, though, is different.  It recommends news items based on the kind of stuff you’ve been reading online.

This isn’t entirely new, of course.  I’m a huge fan of a personalized news aggregator app called Zite while others are addicted to Flipboard.  I use both to help me keep on top of music news stories from around the planet. I don’t know what I’d do without them.

But now I’m going to have to try Vu which also recommends content–including music (and, as you can see, more cat videos). Read more at 9 to 5 Mac.
