Warning: Childish guitar pedal technology ahead

Guitarists are always chasing that perfect guitar tone, the one that they hear in their heads. Pick-ups, amps, and, of course, effects pedals figure into the formula. This, however, provides a solution to a problem no one had: How to make an electric guitar fart.

The Fart Pedal, funded with a Kickstarter campaign in 2021, is now shipping devices, promising “the very latest in musical fart technology” and the ability for guitarists to augment their favourite solos “using ear-rattling butt blasters.” Note the settings.

Wolfgang Van Halen has one. His reaction? “I WANT ONE!”
