Was It Possible that Eagles of Death Metal Were the Actual Targets of the Bataclan Massacre?

Until now, the narrative of the Bataclan massacre in Paris on November 13 was that the killers targeted a random large group of people. They found that group inside a theatre enjoying a concert by Eagles of Death Metal and then proceeded to murder 90 innocents with guns and suicide belts. But now a new story is emerging.

More witnesses are now able to talk about what happened that night and the picture is starting to change. Leaked information from a judicial enquiry suggests that the killers were on the hunt for EODM themselves–specifically singer Jesse Hughes.

According to the leaked info, one of the terrorists was heard to hell “Where’s the singer? Where are the Yanks?” after the shooting started and EODM ran offstage. One theory is that Hughes was targeted because he’s a devout Christian, despite his ironic nickname of “The Devil.” He also holds some political views that are firmly on the right (the Second Amendment is a favourite) and even appeared in a film called The Redemption of the Devil.

Other details from the leak mention Hughes’ possible support for Donald Trump (an Islamaphobe) and Hughes’ podcast about Barack Obama entitled “Our President Is a Foreign-Born Muslim!”

Let’s be completely clear: nothing mentioned above justifies what these thug assholes did. But it might explain certain motivations.  But who knows? They were sick f*cks that may have been jacked up on an ISIS-endorsed amphetamine mixture called Captagon.
