Watch 1,000 musicians pay tribute to Ozzy by covering “Paranoid” simultaneously

Mexico is a pretty hard-rockin’ country with a big love of metal. Last month, about a thousand musicians showed up at the CDMX Arena in Mexico City to perform “Paranoid” in honour of Black Sabbath and Ozzy. Organized by Rodrigo Ronovales, the event pulled together 200 singers, 200 drummers, 200 guitarists, and 200 bassist (including David Ellefson, ex of Megadeth), and 200-ish others. There were about 12,000 spectators.

Not only did they play Black Sabbath, but they also ran through 26 songs. Most were of Latin American rock stars, but they found time for Sabbath and Ace Frehley, too.
