This movie premiered at TIFF in Toronto last year. I thought it was great, although it seemed to receive luke-warm critical response. But Andre 3000 was amazing as Hendrix. It was also written and directed by John Ridley, who was an executive producer for 12 Years a Slave. Worth checking out if you’re a music fan.
Can’t wait for this!
Absolutely mind-blowing to witness Andre 3000 channeling Jimi Hendrix’s iconic spirit—truly an unforgettable performance!
