Watch as the Red Hot Chili Peppers play the opening of a children’s playground

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have had their outrageous moments (performing with socks on their d*cks, appearing onstage naked, assorted drug and alcohol problems), but they have demonstrated a love for children. They almost made it onto Sesame Street, but sadly. their appearance was canceled when producers researched the band.) Hey, Chad Smith even released an album for kids with Dick Van Dyck.

On August 16, the band showed up at Nickerson Gardens, a public housing complex in the Watts area of LA. They played the playground. And the kids got involved, too. Very wholesome.

Here’s the setlist:

1. Intro Jam
2. Can’t Stop
3. Snow (Hey Oh)
4. Under the Bridge
5. Californication
6. Give It Away
7. Outro Jam (feat. Jay Rock)
