Watch as U2 calls a Ukrainian soldier about a song premiere

Last Wednesday (February 18), U2 released Songs of Ash, a six-track EP featuring some pretty serious and intense protest songs inspired by everything that’s happening in the world today, specifically the US and Ukraine.

One of the songs is “Yours Eternally,” which features Ed Sheeran and Taras Topolia, the frontman the Ukrainian band, Antytila. Just before the video dropped, Bono and The Edge placed a call to Khartiia sergeant Oleksandr Zhylyaiev ahead of tomorrow’s world premiere of the video.
