It used to be that private gigs were, well, private. But with everyone carrying smartphones, the chances of footage of anything leaking out is almost 100%.

For example, songwriter Linda Perry recently held an event in LA for an upcoming film called Freehold and a couple of people got up to sing. One of them was Courtney Love, who chose to tackle Radiohead’s “Creep.”
