Watch David Bowie Do “Ziggy Stardust” Over 40 Years

Yesterday was the 39th anniversary of Ziggy Stardust’s retirement following a show at the Hammersmith Odeon in London.  At the time, people were afraid that it was Bowie who was retiring.  They need not have worried, obviously.  Bowie was just putting the character of Ziggy on ice.

With an exception of a short period in the 90s, Bowie has continue to perform material from that era.  This video documents that.
