Watch David Bowie predict the coming impact of the internet–in 1999.

There are an infinite number of reasons why I miss David Bowie. One is his intelligence, foresight, and prescience when it came to certain things.

Here he is talking about the future impact of the internet in a 1999 interview. This was shortly after he raised $55 million by offering his songs as “Bowie bonds,” long before today’s catalogue purchasing rush (he got them all back ten years later) and a couple of years after he founded his own internet company known as BowieNet.
