Watch This: A History of the Cassette

Today I look at the cassette as a vile piece of outdated technology. But back in the day, it was essential more making your music mobile–even if they did melt on the dashboard and rattle around in the floor well of the passenger seat.  Check out this documentary on the rise and fall of what was officially known as the “Compact Cassette.”
