One downside of being a drummer is that you just can’t walk into a room, plug in and start playing (I’m talking about full-sized acoustic kits here, obviously). You have to assemble everything every time, which can be a chore.
This, however, takes things to a nutty extreme. GateToBackline, a German musical rental company, passed its COVID-19 downtime by constructing what they call the world’s largest drumkit at the Turock Club in Essen. Wow.
