I love Volodymyr Zelenskyy. As someone of Ukrainian stock myself, this guy is not only inspiring his country to stand up to Putin and Russian, Ukraine has become a bulwark against expanding authoritarianism.

Think where we might be if Russia had rolled into Ukraine, toppled the government, and put in a puppet machine. The world would be further destabilized as an aggressive regime was illegally able to take over another sovereign nation. Putin and Russia would be emboldened to expand further. China, sensing where the wind was going, may have already invaded Taiwan. Not good.

But our little fireplug with the growly voice and the green t-shirt has emerged as one of the world’s most important politicians in decades. Like I say, I love the guy.
