We Might FINALLY Get a Proper Alice in Chains Biography. TWO Actually.

During is Layne Staley incarnation, Alice in Chains sold 20 million albums. They were one of the top-tier grunge acts. So why hasn’t there been a proper book on the band? (There have been a couple but IMHO, they’re terrible.)

But we may be on the verge of having that solved. First, we have Alice in Chains: The Untold Story coming August 4.

But there’s a second volume coming, too. Word is that Guns ‘N Roses bassist Duff McKagan is working on something, too. Given that he toured with AIC in 2006 (and that he’s been buddies with the band forever) he should have some interesting insights.
