This Monday may have been a civic holiday across Canada, but the recorded music industry needs to know where they stand this week. Let’s begin with year-over-year comparisons of music sales and streaming.

CD sales, -5.2%
Digital albums, -26.8%
Digital tracks, -27.0%
Vinyl LPs +52.4% (Yes, that’s correct!)
On-demand audio streams: +13.6%
