We’re a day late with this week’s sales and streaming stats, but Easter Monday, you know? Let’s start with year-over-year comparisons.

  • Total album sales, -21.1%
  • CD sales, -35.8%
  • Digital albums, -19.9%
  • Digital tracks, -23.9%
  • Vinyl LPs, +41.5%
  • On-demand audio streams, +13.9%

Moving to week-over-week stats. It was a good week.

  • Total album sales, +9.0%
  • CD sales, +16.2%
  • Digital albums, +5.7%
  • Digital tracks, +7.6%
  • Vinyl LPs, -1.1%
  • On-demand audio streams, -1.0% (1.892 billion streams in the country last week).
