Year-over-year comparisons:

  • Total album sales, -10.2%
  • Physical albums, -5.2%
  • CD sales, -6,8%
  • Digital albums, -17.5%
  • Digital tracks, -17,0%
  • Vinyl LPs, -1.8%
  • On-demand audio streams, +13.7%

Now let’s look at last week compared to the week before:

  • Total album sales, -22.4% (That’s the dip from Tay-Tay’s first-week sales)
  • CD sales, -15.%
  • Digital albums, -16.8%
  • Digital tracks, -4.0%
  • Vinyl LPs, -40.6% (Whoa!)
  • On-demand audio streams, -1.6% (2.245 billion streams in the country last week)
