This week’s numbers were a little late but came in nonetheless. Here’s the current state of Canadian recorded music sales and streaming starting with year-over-year comparisons.

Total album sales, -10.4%
CD sales, -3.4%
Digital albums, -27.6%
Digital tracks, -26.7%
Vinyl albums, +49.8%
On-demand audio streams, +12.4%

Total album sales, -3.5%
CD sales, -8.7%
Digital albums, +1.1%
Digital tracks, -1.9%
Vinyl albums, -0.8%
On-demand audio streams, -0.7% (2.062 billion streams in the country last week)
