The weekly Canadian music sales and streaming stats are a little late this week because of the American Juneteenth holiday. Let’s begin by comparing last week to the same week in 2023.

  • CD sales, -7.8%
  • Digital album sales, -12.8%
  • Digital tracks, -10.5%
  • Vinyl LPs, +19.0%
  • On-demand audio streaming, +15.8%

This is how last week fared when compared to the week previous.

  • Total album sales, -1.7%
  • CD sales, -2.4%
  • Digital album sales, -6.9%
  • Digital tracks, -0.5%
  • Vinyl LPs, +7.3%
  • On-demand audio streaming, -0.3% (2.534 billion streams in the country last week)
