Luminate has again released an update on how the Canadian recorded music industry is doing when it comes to sales and streaming.
Year-over-year comparisons:

- CD sales, -8.3%
- Digital albums, -12.9%
- Digital tracks, -9.3%
- Vinyl LPs, +16.8%
- On-demand audio streams,+16.0%
Comparing last week with the week before:
- Total album sales, +11.3%
- CD sales, +22.6%
- Digital albums, +1.7%
- Digital tracks, -1.1%
- Vinyl LPs, +2.6%
- On-demand audio streams, +2.6% (2,497 billion streams in the country last week)
