Fall arrived last week, so it’s time to look at where the Canadian recorded music ended up this summer. All figures courtesy of Luminate.

Digital albums, 11.7%
Digital tracks, -11.2%
Vinyl LPs,+23.4%
On-demand audio streams, +15.5% (Back to school listening?)

Total album sales, 6.0%
CD sales, +8.9%
Digital albums, +3.3%
Digital tracks, 0.1%
Vinyl LPs, +5.6%
On-demand audio streams, +1.2% (2.6 billion streams in the country, which could be a new record)
