Weekly survey: How do you feel about general admission areas at concerts?

The idea of general admission areas at concerts is again up for discussion following the crowd crush that killed eight people and injured 300 others at the Astroworld festival in Houston. How can such a tragedy be prevented from happening again?

Meanwhile, this might have some people rethinking how they participate in shows. Are you still okay with general admission areas at gigs?

  • If I’m not on the floor in a GA area, I don’t go to the show. That is where it’s the most fun. And I’ve been going to concerts for almost 40 years and still believe that.

  • I don’t do general admission unless it is a really small venue. Can’t deal with some of the entitled idiots in GA anymore…..

  • GA Floor is great fun. Astroworld was a tragedy, but it could have been avoided. I’m confident that festival producers / promoters will prioritize the safety of the audience in light of what happened in Huston.
