Now that we’re getting very close to the end of the year, it’s time for some reflection on the overall quality of the new music we got. How would you grade the music of 2021?

  • What main stream record labels have been pumping out is slop, but smaller independent bands and jazz artists have been making great music. I guess being locked down for months got people creativity going big time.

  • It’s been polarized. There has been some top notch emerging stuff coming out along with some decent legacy acts pumping out new content. BUT, the mainstream stuff, is just farm run off…
