The cowbell was just another percussion tool until Christopher Walken and Will Farrell appeared on Saturday Night Live on April 8, 2000.

And thus began the More Cowbell era. The humble percussion item now has iconic status. (Read the history of that skit here.)

This week’s question is simple: What is the best use of cowbell in the history of rock? I’ll start.

Give me your best cowbell songs. You can choose from any era in the history of rock.
