Weekly survey: What’s the last song you want to hear before you die?

A palliative care doctor has written about the importance of music as one gets sent to the great beyond. It makes for an interesting playlist, too. It’s also quite the thread on Reddit.

Let’s start with this example. During Joey Ramone’s last moments on earth, the last song he heard was U2’s “In a Little While.” It was one of this favourites.

What would you choose?

She from Kiss Alive. It was the first heavy song I heard and ends with a guitar solo, drum fills and Paul Stanley yelling. What’s not to like?

    Genesis – Supper’s Ready

“There’s an angel standing in the sun
And he’s crying with a loud voice
“This is the supper of the mighty one”
Lord of Lords, King of Kings
Has returned to lead his children home
To take them to the new Jerusalem”
