What does it sound like when 1,000 musicians play “Born to be Wild” all at once?

It’s not just communist counties like China and North Korea that can stage mass entertainment events. The Rockin’ 1000, the Italy-based organization, specializes in gathering at least a thousand musicians together in a big venue to all collaborate on a song. Here’s another example of something they did: a performance in Paris where everyone played Steppenwolf’s “Born to be Wild.” And yes, a motorcycle was involved. (Via Rick J)
