the reality is, while there are some good bands on there, this list is pretty weak considering the sheer number of bands and music scene Toronto has had for the last 40-50 years. And with no Lowest of the Low, I don't consider that much of a list.
Neil Young is from Winnipeg, Sloan is from Halifax, City and Colour is from St. Catherines, (most of) Holy Fuck is from Yarmouth/Halifax, Born Ruffians are from Midland, and Tokyo Police Club is from Newmarket. Let's make this the "We Live in Toronto Now, After Having Moved Here From Somewhere Else" Festival
aaaand USS is where?
As well as illScarlett??
Sloan is definitely a Nova Scotia band.

Death from above is from Montreal!!!
Perhaps their way of saying that the state of American music right now sucks donkey
Pretty good list, although there is no way that City and Colour should be that 'low' as a headliner… like under Peaches, or Junior Boys? Come on.
I would also have liked to see The Wooden Sky, Grey Kingdoms, and Bahamas added to the list.
Hayden and we're good to go 😉
